My First Liebster Award!!

I've been nominated!! Yaaaay I'm really excited in writting this post as it's my very first award! Actually I've been nominated by two sweet ladies, Divya from Nails Jazzed Up and Jaclyn from Aisuru Nails (BIG thanks for both of you!) but I decided to split it up into two posts. I really want to answer all of their fun questions but I don't want to bore you with such a long and full of words post. So today I'll respond to Divya's as she nominated me first. Don't worry Jaclyn, I'll post my respond to your award soon :D

Well, let's start!

Again, I'd like to thank Divya from Nails Jazzed Up for nominating me. Thanks a lot, dear! Your email about this award really made me jumping around my room! Here's my answers to your questions.

1. What made you start blogging?
I love doing my nails since around a year before I started blogging and I did it so often. It always was a big dilemma when I wanted to paint a new design on my nails but too sad to scrapped off my old design because nobody actually has seen them (or cared). Until one day I found out that nail blogs exist! So I thought it will be really great to be able to paint my nails everyday and share them on my blog.

2. What's your favourite nail treatment?
I haven't found my favourite yet actually because I haven't tried many nail treatment products. So far Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Strengthener works really well for me. It really makes my nails stronger!

3. What's your favourite nail polish brand?
Ouuch it's a hard one! Because it's "brand", not "brands". But I think my favourite brand is OPI. And Sally Hansen. And.. Wait, that's "brands"! Okay, I'll take OPI.

4. What/ who inspired to do nail art?
First time I started to love nail art was when I accidentally watched one of the water marble tutorials by Simple Little Pleasures and I thought it was really cool. I mean, how did she do that?! That kind of nail art does exist? And then that video drowned me in this pretty obsession.

5. What do you want to do in future?
Umm, being a nail artist and having my own nail salon. But I also want to be an animator because I'm studying Visual Communication Design about animation right now and I'm enjoying it. Maybe I'll do both :p LOL

6. What is your favourite top coat and base coat?
I haven't tried many base and top coats. So far for base coat I've tried Revlon Professional Grow 10, OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener, and Etude House Help My Finger - Milk Strong. I'd say the Sally Hansen one is my favourite right now for the base coat. For top coat, I only have tried Revlon Professional Grow 10 (I used it as base and top coat), and Revlon Super Top Speed 60 Second. Both of them are not my favourite! Well, I didn't regret buying them but they're just not good enough to be labeled as my favourite.

7. What will you like to tell those who are new to this blogging world or who are going to start a blog.
Just keep swimming! No, really, keep posting! The more regular, the better. Even if your folower number grows slowly, don't be discouraged. And keep learning! Learn how to take a good care of your nails (nails are your asset in nail blogging), how to take a good picture, how to organize your blog well, etc. I still need to learn a lot too.

8. What's your favourite color?
For fashion, I love dark and neutral colors, especially black and white. But when it comes to nail polish, bright color is my weak spot! All hail mint!!

9. Which nail art technique you find the easiest and toughest?
I'd say the toughest technique for me is the water spotted technique. Yup, not the water marbling. Water marbling is really hard but I find that water spotted is even harder for me. I just haven't found the right spray yet that works well to create that pretty effect. My attempt on water spotted always turns into a mess. And the easiest? Nothing is easy for me.

10. Which is your favourite TV show?
I don't really watch TV :P

11. Which country will you like to visit?
A lot!! I really really REALLY would love to visit France, Spain, Japan, UK, US, Netherlands, aaargh there're too many countries I really want to visit! I love traveling!
