33 DC #crumpetsnailtarts Day 11 - 3D
Hello everyone!!
Today I have these awesome Candy Fluorescent Light Color Round Square Mix Stud Rhinestones (Phew! Such a long name) from Born Pretty Store. I usually don't really like 3D something on my nails but I really can't resist these studs!! They're sooo bright and pretty!
with top coat |
without top coat (the studs are originally matte) |
For this design, I used Revlon Mistletoe (deep evergreen shimmer), OPI Mummy Knows Best (white), Etude House Ice Cream Nails OR201 (peach for dots), Etude House Warming Lemon (neon yellow for dots), white flocking powder, and of course the studs!
These studs are really easy to work with. Simply put them on wet top coat then seal them again with top coat. They lie flat on my nails, except on my pinky. Yup, pinky is the narrowest nail so the square studs won't lie flat. But their colours are soooo pretty so I don't really mind the lifting.
Sadly I lost the stud on my thumb and ring finger. Well, I didn't apply any top coat on them because they were on flocking powder. But the rest studs last for three days. It should last longer I think but I scrapped them off to create another design after three days :p
Overall, I love love LOVE these studs! Can't wait to create bunch of designs using these oh-so-bright studs! If you're interested in trying these fluorescent studs ($6.07) or other nail art products from Born Pretty Store, don't forget to use my code BALQ10 to get 10% off!
These are cool. I don't usually like the look of flocking powder but I quite like it in this design, the texture makes it more interesting. Plus the studs are amazing!
